In this operation mode, the logiRECORDER, without use of integrated SSD drives, converts the PC stimuli data, integrated in Ethernet data packets, into the ECU’s native automotive interfaces. At the same time, the logiRECORDER receives the ECU’s responses and sends them towards the PC packed into Ethernet data packets.
PC stimuli data can be either road recordings, eventually pulled-down from the user company’s cloud services, or synthetically generated stimuli data from virtual test drive simulators.
The physical layer of the 10 GbE Ethernet HIL link is established over optical fiber. Xylon’s fiber optics kits have been fully tested and verified with the logiRECORDER.
