Xylon has an exceptionally strong team of great engineers with extensive experience in development and integration of electronic systems and components for automotive and other high-technology industries. Our broad set of technical skills and expertise in hardware and software development enables us to serve as a one-stop shop for your testing and validation needs.

XYLON QUATTRO and logiRECORDER Automotive HIL Video Logger are extremely versatile and flexible testing and validation platforms, supported by more than 20 exchangeable and different I/O modules, and an extensive software development kit for quick and easy integration into testing and validation applications of the most demanding users. Nevertheless, we understand that sometimes it is necessary to change specific system parts in order to achieve the perfect fit with customers’ needs.
Whether you are looking to interface a novel type of automotive sensor, shrink propagation delays through the simulation rig, or to simply fine-tune the sensory data formats, you can reach out to us and ask for adjustments. Xylon is fully in charge of designing and manufacturing XYLON QUATTRO and logiRECORDER and their vital hardware and software parts, and has the means to adjust the systems to suit customers’ requirements.

FPGA Design

Nowadays, modern Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and System-on-a-Chip (SoCs) devices with integrated FPGA-programmable logic not only offer superior flexibility, but also meet performance requirements of modern automotive electronic designs for Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD).
FPGA technology enables fast design cycles, integration and data processing of emerging automotive sensors, while facilitating many applications that cannot be supported by software and off-the-shelf ASSP and ASIC chips.
Design of FPGA-based electronic systems requires a specific skill set, all part of Xylon’s offering. If your application requires a customized FPGA design, pre-verified IP cores, high-speed design expertise, or simply a knowledgeable consultation, you can contact us with confidence.
We have been mastering FPGA-programmable chip technologies for more than 25 years!

Embedded design

Testing and simulation rigs for laboratory use or for use in test vehicles often miss crucial electronic devices for full test system integration. Various Measurement Test Units (MTUs) that connect automotive sensors to data loggers or automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to simulation rigs are a good example. MTUs convert native automotive high-speed interfaces to a unified fast Ethernet interface, or vice versa, which has often been shown to be the only possible way to connect the latest automotive sensors to the existing testing equipment. Xylon offers its services in development of such and similar devices. We can develop it from scratch; from schematics to full electronic PCBs, and from low-level firmware to high-level control software. Xylon is also able to design rugged housings that withstand required temperature and vibration ranges, and manufacture finished electronic devices in quantities appropriate for regular testing vehicles fleet.

“We have listened closely to our customers and designed a logging device that quickly adapts to suit any camera-based ADAS/AD testing and validation needs,” said Xylon’s founder and CEO Davor Kovačec. “Its built-in flexibility offers a future-proof investment because it can grow with market trends and easily support video and network standards and interfaces that are yet to be introduced in the ADAS/AD market.”
