ISP Tuning in a Simulation Environment

It is common for engineering teams to collect large volumes of representative video data across a wide range of lighting, weather, and traffic conditions to tune, train, and validate perception pipelines. However, relying solely on real-world data collection is both costly and extremely time-consuming.

To address this challenge, XYLON has partnered with rFpro to develop a new workflow that combines tunable image signal processing (ISP) with high-fidelity synthetic data generation.

The result is a more scalable, efficient, and comprehensive approach to camera development, enabling faster tuning, training, and validation of perception systems.
